Overview: (VHS
Back)
When a
spell to return them goes awry, three travelers must find five elves with
pieces of that spell tattooed on their skin.
Junpei,
the fighter, has vowed to strip every elf in the land to find the spell,
which doesn't please Celcia, the elven leader and priestess who lost the
spell in the first place. Junpei, Airi the clever actress, and the deadly
young Ritsuko battle fishy pirates, challenge local legends and eventually
con Celcia into helping them find the spell that will send them home. |
Review:
Stripping
elves......when I heard this I thought "Warning: Fanservice a plenty ahead".
I was pleasantly surprised to be wrong. If there was a way that stripping
elves could be done in good taste this is it. The nudity is 99% of
the time covered up by arms and objects which is really nice not to have
nudity just for the sake of nudity for once.
Our heroes
are a interesting bunch, an actress/quick change artist, and teenage girl
who must have trained as Marine somewhere, and a guy who looks like a refugee
from the game Tekken. As the story goes on we later find out how
these three ended up in this other world (with a tank no less, which is
later possessed by a cat spirit), and let me tell you it is well worth
it.
If you
liked Slayers you'll like this too. Moments of insanity in this series
rival some on the Slayers funniest moments. I must see more of this! |
