There's
no need to fear! Nuku Nuku’s here! Meow! To stop president “Hell” Mishima
of Mishima Industry from conquering the world home appliance market, scientist
Kyusaku Natsume creates the All-Purpose Cat-Girl androbot Nuku Nuku. Sweet
as a kitten and strong as a tiger, teenaged Nuku Nuku has no problem dispatching
Mishima’s never-ending stream of appliance robots.
Being human,
however, is a different story! Kyusaku’s son, schoolboy Ryunosuke
Natsume, guides Nuku Nuku as best he can. But he has his own problems when
schoolgirl Noriko Ishiyama decides she has to marry him! Then there's Akiko
Natsume, Ryunosuke’s mother: By day, she's a mild-mannered Mishima executive,
but by night she's the company president's ruthless right hand, nicknamed
“Bloody Akiko!”
For a while,
the students at Maneki High School are not sure about Nuku Nuku, but that
all changes when she saves class head officer Futaba Kaibara from a marauding
washing machine! Curiosity won't kill this cat! |
Review:
Oh thank
goodness, I've done three reviews within the last 12 hours, all of them
off single episode promo disks. I said on the other two that you
often can't tell much by one episode. Here, thankfully is an exception.
I've hear of this one before, but never had the chance to see it before,
until now.
This is
one of those anime series that make me jump up and thank goodness I am
an anime fan. The is a fun anime, there are many good comedies, but
I haven't laughed out loud this much at a single episode in along time.
Great parody and original comedy combine to make this a comedy classic.
Nuku Nuku
herself is a riot, a cat's brain in an android's body, at school she eats
cat off and washers herself like a cat. It's so rare that funny can
be plain cute, without trying to be sexy, especially now a days.
While not exactly a new show. It's about darn time this was released. |
