What would
you do if you were trapped — endlessly reliving the same day? The gang
at Tomobiki High School find themselves reliving the "day before the School
Festival" over and over again! For anyone else, this would be a horrific
problem...but with wacky classmates like the beautiful alien princess,
Lum, and her lecherous beau, Ataru — they aren't surprised! |
Review:
This was
the first time I had seen a anything Urusei Yatsura. Thankfully,
I had a very basic knowlege of it. As a work of Rumiko Takahashi,
it reminded me alot of Ranma 1/2 (and that is a good thing). Granted,
I might have been a little less confused if I had seen the series or read
the manga first. However, I enjoyed it.
I had
no real complains about it, other than not knowing who most of the very
large cast is. The whole Time/Dreams explaination was a bit weird,
but they might be just me. Overall a pretty good movie, should be
seen AFTER reading or watching at least some Urusei Yatsura, a very
likely rental, maybe buy if you like shows like this or other of Takahashi's
works. I most likely would have liked this more If I had see some
of the series. |
