Overview:
It's four
years later after the eight Digi-Destined returned to their world.
Now the Digital World is being threatened by a new enemy...the powerful
Digimon Kaiser. The new enemy uses Dark Rings to control Digimon and Dark
Spires to prevent any Digimon from evolving.
The gate
to the Digital World is now reopened. Three new Digi-Destined are
chosen who along with older Digi-Destined Hikari and Takeru now take on
this new human enemy. To evolved the Digi-Destined by-pass the power
of the Dark Spires by using Digital Metal Armor Evolution.
Who is
the Digimon Kaiser?
What are
his plans for the Digital World?
Is the new team up for the challange? |
Review:
Indeed
a very worth sequel to the Digimon Adventure. The mix of new and
old, with appranced by more of the older Digi-Destined is great.
The storyline with the origin of the Digimon Kaiser is one of the best
sub-plots I've ever seen, in ANY anime. Then after that we get Oikawa
and his pack story which is almost as good.
Plus,
you get worldwide digidesined, fusion evolution, and much more. This
show starts of at full speed and just keeps going, it may slow down at
points, but it just keep getting better. One small rant is that the
Dark Ocean is never never really explained, but that could just be the
dubbed version.
Break
out a box of tissie or two for the final episode, after the last explosions,
your eyes will tear up like there's no tomorrow. |
